Driving: Tucson, lordburg koa, new mexico to city of rocks state park new mexico.

just a mile down the road we found this cool veterans park

they had very nice picnic spots! maybe one day we will come back here and boondock.

City of Rocks State Park is a state park in New Mexico, consisting of large sculptured rock formations in the shape of pinnacles or boulders rising as high as 40 feet

we stayed at campsite 12 which was amazing! our site was surrounded by huge rocks.

we just started our cross country roadtrip and we fell so lucky to be in this beautiful country to explore all the amazing places.
